He's shown us His love
We had such a great week of youth camp, and the Lord's anointing was definitely on our friend Branscombe's visit and messages. We love that guy dearly and both felt so lonely when we woke up to a quiet house this morning. Tim, we miss you already! You MUST come back!
It rained not only every single day of camp, but every single day Tim was here. The clouds sat low and covered the mountains, and the sun was no where to be seen. In fact, Tim did not even believe we had mountains OR sun until yesterday. It was Tim's last day and we begged the Lord for clear skies and sunshine. Well when we awoke, He had given us what we ask for, and we wore ourselves out making good use of it! We couldn't take TIm rafting, cause the rivers were flooded, and we couldn't take him fishing, cause the muddied flooded waters made it no good, and we couldn't do anything else that took more than a day. So we did some sightseeing. It was still fun. Here are a few pictures from our adventures. The bottom one is my personal fav, cause I MADE the boys do it with me! Don't they look ecstatic?!?!
I'll try to post more, but I'm not sure if blogger will let me. I've been having troubles. So not only did the Lord bless us with a sunny clear day, but all Tim wanted to see while here was a bear. We've had a crazy bear year. Go to flicker to see some of the bears we've seen this summer. However, it is still unusual to see a bear unless you go to its environment. You hardly ever see a bear just driving down the road. But of course with God all things are possible, and on a back road, out comes meandering a good sized Alaskan black bear for Tim to see!!! How God lavishes the good gifts on to His children!
To verify God's goodness, we woke up this morning to a miserably rainy day. God cleared the skies just for Tim. How cool.
