I did it!!!

I FINALLY took this math placement test today that has been hanging over my head for the past year, and I placed not only high enough, but higher than I really needed to. I placed into the Calculus class, and I only needed to place into Statistics 242!!! Yay!!! This means for sure that I will be applying to the 2nd half of the nursing program this fall! Thank you Lord! Big Relief...gonna party tonight...

YAY! We don't have to have calc as part of our degree here! SO THANKFUL!!! Thankfully, my math credit from Bethany transferred over and I was able to test out of the remaining classes I needed. Now I just need to re-take A/P and Chemistry (I took "too long" of a "break" from school, so I lost credits...dumb, I know). Once I take that first half of A/P, I am in to the second half of the program (i.e. clinicals and such). But, our nursing program here is retarded, and A/P fills up within the first 7 minutes of enrollment, so I can't take it until NEXT fall...and that's only if I can get a seat in the class. Grrr.....welcome to Traverse City, where the town is SO set on not believing we're growing!

Kayla, Calc is not required for our BS degree here. That was just the level I tested into, and I was excited b/c I only had to test into Statistics. They require everyone to take a statistics class here, Statistics for Nursing. You're lucky you had any classes transfer from BBC. The University here took NOTHING from my whole degree. I've had to scratch from the bottom up. I've tested out of some and quikcly soared through others, but paid for it all again. That part sucks.
Yes, taking the chem and AP sucks as well but atleast you'll be fresh on it all. Do you have to take MicroBiology over again too?
