The music of my soul...: After all, He is omniscient...

After all, He is omniscient...

I have to admit, I've prayed the "Lord, PALEASE bring my baby today", "Lord, PLEASE help tonight to be the night" prayers...
but perhaps the Lord knows what He's doing. This week, my Dad has been really sick. Now, I am nursing my husband back to health.
This baby is much more easily protected inside of me, isn't she, than if I was constantly worrying and shielding her from sickness floating around in our homes!

Also quite fitting as comfy pants have been the highlight of Sarah's blog lately, I got some new comfy pants at Walmart. In this last month of pregnancy, I have officially outgrown my 'smalls' and have been promoted to a 'medium'...atleast now I'm comfortable and this morning actually feel like maybe I COULD do this for another month if I have to!

Rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS, and again I say REJOICE! I can rejoice because I am comfortable today in my comfy pants, and also because my baby is safe inside of me from all the viruses and bacteria floating around.

p.s. Tomorrow is my due date!!!! Which means...one day closer to the midwives saying, "ok, maybe we'll help nature along a little bit"! :-)

You go gurl! I admire and applaud your attitude during this (how shall we say) excruciating time of of waiting :D I TOTALLY can identify with what you're feeling during this season. Crazy. Even more crazy and wonderful: you're going to be a mommy soon! Can't wait to meet your precious baby girl:)

Okay, I'd say your doing really well if you are only NOW graduating from 'small' to 'medium'. Kudos!!!

And you are right regarding the viruses. She's much safer in there for now. Grampy and Daddy will want to snuggle her every moment they can when she arrives - so getting them better before she comes is a must!! However, it sounds like she's quite content where she is for the moment and doesn't have any plans of leaving before she wants to!

I think we are all checking everyday to see if there is any news!!! Can't wait for the 'big post'!!! :)

I hope YOU stay healthy! I started getting sick IN labor! I remember my last few pushes with Amberly and I had snot pouring out my nose. Super uncomfortable and super embarassing. And I was sick for weeks afer that, then Amberly got it at only a few weeks old:( So I willpray protection over your immune system and hers as well!! Keep us posted on that baby girl!!

Happy due date, Ang! Make your "overdue time" a romantic time of lots of pre-baby dates, then you won't notice quite so much. It'll help keep your mind occupied a little. Plus, it may be a long time 'til you have another date. Just a suggestion. We had two weeks of this, and Elliott was way worse than me. It was pretty cute.
