The music of my soul...: I have life inside of me!!!

I have life inside of me!!!

I am so thrilled to announce that in less than 7 months time, Morgan and I will be holding a precious child, and it will be ours!
Yes! I am pregnant!
There is truly a little miracle growing inside of me, and I am so overwhelmed by God's love- that He would trust me with one of His little children! I am going to be a mother! It's all starting to sink in now, and I am overjoyed.
We found out several weeks ago, and these past several weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions. We are trusting the Lord for a healthy pregnancy and baby, and are so excited to share our news with you!!!

At 7 weeks, we had an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy, and we saw Baby's heartbeat!! You can go to
daddy's blog to see the real thing. It might be a game of "where's Mini MacP", but if you notice a little lump in the middle of a circle, that's our baby!!! Baby has grown a lot since then! Mini MacP now has fingers and toes and moves all around inside of me, although I can't feel anything yet.

So, I must finish this so I can wrap up my evening. Baby makes me VERY VERY tired!

AGHHHH!!! WHAT?!!!! YAY!!! I CAN'T STOP SHOUTING (ER, WRITING IN CAPS!!!) HOW EXCITING!!!!! WEEEEEEE BABY MacP!!!

phew, okay I'm starting to calm down. You MUST keep us constantly updated. I'm talking, the last time you puked, to your next dr. appt., to baby things you looked at.....

In the spirit of Prez...I love it!!

Oh yay! Prez was on my blog!!! :-) The funny thing was that coming from you, I heard Andrew's impression in my head. LOL.
Like I wrote on your blog, YOUR excitement has gotten me even MORE Excited!!!!!!!! :-)
I will keep you posted! So far, I've had nausea, but haven't actually thrown up. Baby likes to give me many other fun things, but I'm not complaining, b/c so far I've managed to steer clear of the puke bowl. I am very fortunate, as I do NOT do well with that yucky stuff.
Happy Beulah week!

Wow, lucky girl! So how many weeks are you now? Just past 7 I assume? Did they give you a due date?

Not only are you going to be a great mother, you will be a fun one too!

It's all such a miracle. I am so thrilled for you to be experiencing it all! It really IS a special journey that holds so much meaning for mommy.

Hey you just posted! We must be on at the same time. Cool!
Tomorrow will be 9 weeks, actually. The ultrasound was a couple weeks ago. My due date is Feb. 10! God is so good with His timing! It is the perfect time of year, as I will be finished my second year of nursing and then will have another 1 1/2 years or so to wait until I can get into the second half...so I'll have all that time at home with Baby when he/she is so small!!

I'm confused Kayla- what does Pop Rocks have to do with being pg????Seriously- we love them! Baby or not!!! :-)
ha ha
You guessed right, though! I guess you could say it was a surprise! A wonderful one!

I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH! Having a baby is so wonderful and I'm so glad the Lord is blessing you with a little one! I am in agreement with everyone...you are in for an exciting ride! My life TOTALLY changed with Asa and I wouldn't trade a thing! I'm SO excited for you! You will both be WONDERFUL parents. Looking forward to the updates...are we going to know if the baby is a boy or girl before the big day? Congrats!

Congratulations! That's very exciting! By the way, Preggie pops (they're suckers...yummy) really help to ease nausea (YEAH!).

congratulations...

I TOTALLY used the preggie pop drops, too! Lemon drops work just as well, but when you need them as frequently as I did, they rub the roof of your mouth raw:( Hey, Ang, did anyone tell you NOT to take your prenatals in the morning?? Take them at bedtime (less nausea, I promise!!!)and avoid organge juice...those are the two best things you can do to help minimize the nausea (the Queen of morning sickness here....!) *blah* I feel nauseous FOR you!!!!

Hey Angela, I am very excited for you and Morgan! Not that I have ever experienced being prego/mom, I think it must be pretty amazing and I can't wait to have my turn sometime!

May God keep your body safe, may he help you to slow down when you need to, and may he help you to savour this unique experience!

We are excited!! Keep us posted!

Congrats guys!! That's sooo exciting! With all the babies in the past year or so I've wondered from time to time when you guys would have one! :) You will be wonderful parents! I know this little one will be precious!

I know Natasha and I already congratulated you, but this bears repeating. What incredible news! What a miracle! This is going to be one swinging child. Aside from the puke, I think I'll enjoy all the updates you and Kristi share.

Congratualions! You need to make sure that baby gets to see Florida real soon :)

Thanks everyone for your advice and congrats!
I have an appt. tomorrow with my OB so I'll have to update you then! I'm feeling great, honestly. Yesterday, I even ate fast food, which is quite a feat for me on a normal day, let alone a nauseous one!!! I'm counting my blessings; the worst I've had this week is wacky moods and fatigue.
Last night I dreamed I was holding the baby and woke up wishing the next 6.5 months would fly by. :-)
I'm trying to "enjoy" the experience, though.
