Summer Adventures

Hello Hello Hello! Don't worry! I have not become lost on a glacier pass or fallen prey to a bear. I am still alive and well- just been busy! How's everyone's summer going? We're having a blast! We've had an action-packed spring and summer so far- hiking, rafting, youth outings, and our biggest event of all this summer was having Morgan's parents here in June! We had such a good time with them, on their first visit to Alaska! We went on a glacier cruise out of Whittier, Alaska, and saw all kinds of gorgeous glaciers and wildlife! I think we saw about 9 or 10 moose that day! We also went to the Alaska zoo and saw everything from a polar bear to tigers and elephants! We did lots of sight seeing, and of course, Alaskan shopping. Did the Saturday market, saw native dancers, ate downtown and got sunburned.
Right after they went back to Ontario, Morgan and I left with my parents and a couple other church leaders for our District Conference in Seattle. We once again had beautiful weather there and enjoyed the local fruit fresh to Washington. That was a nice refresher!
Happy Independence Day and Canada Day! We celebrated with a nice day-long rafting trip down the Willow Creek and Little Susitna Rivers!! Angela learned her lesson about sunscreen!! (Hint: never forget the ears!).
Now we're just getting ready for the Bear Paw Festival (our church has an outreach booth there), and our youth camp and VBS in August! I start a job at a local Bridal Salon this weekend. That should be lots of fuN!
Ok so that's our summer in a nutshell so far. What's everyone else up to?

Sounds like you two have been cramming ten years of summer vacation into a few very busy weeks. The pics are beautiful.

Nice Pics! You don't get views like that everyday. I am glad to hear that you are doing well and having a good summer. Adam and I have been very busy. We have been down south (VA&NC), NJ & NYC, EXALT! tour in ON, ME, VT and now we are at Beulah. BTW- We are moving to VA at the end of the month as Moe Diggs has hired Adam as the Assistant Pastor of Worship ministries. We can't wait to move back there as we love everyone there! Well, i don't want this to be a long comment but keep posting and keep in touch!
